I’ve advocated for this very idea before, especially in my own work.
Don’t you want to look back in your 80s, appreciating all the wealth you’ve cultivated throughout your life fueled by PASSION?
I think it’s incredibly crucial to remember that the goals + dreams you set out to achieve are worth the hard work + perseverance. Why? Because regardless of what they are, or the magnitude they have in your overall existence, their value is inherently defined by the MEANING you give them.
Making the most out of life is one of the most beautiful gifts you can give to yourself… believe me! When I started to show up for MYSELF and left behind what hindered me from creating passion in my life, that’s when all the major growth occurred.
In The Sparkle System Coaching Certification + Six Figure Business School, one of my most beloved exercises encompassing this very theme is LEGACY LETTERS!!! Have you ever written a letter to the FUTURE you? It’s insurmountably powerful, and we do exercises like these on a regular basis inside my programs.
The intention and purpose of legacy writing is to discover, communicate, and preserve your values, stories, wisdom, and blessings for future generations. The way I’ve seen this done before is the person is actually 80 (give or take), writing out this wisdom to pass on what they have already learned.
I want you to close your eyes + imagine you are sitting inside the body of your 80 year old self. As you reflect on your life, feel into all the amazing things you have accomplished.
Think about your game changer lessons, values, tips, and all the personal revelations that have brought you to discover your authenticity in life and biz.
As you reflect back on your life and the amazing + impactful things you’ve experienced, all the unforgettable memories you have made, I want you to write a letter to the next generation of YOU… your legacies.
Imagine this letter will be enclosed with the trust fund you are leaving for your family… because you have created generational wealth.
