Baby #2 is going to be here before I freaking know it- OMG!!! Experiencing motherhood with another baby is going to be such a fulfilling and intimate time to bond with my family, but I’m sure you’re wondering: what about my business?

Here’s what I’ve put in place to ensure I’m able to nurture BOTH of my pivotal roles:

When I found out I was pregnant with Baby #2, I knew I wanted to hold space for my preparation + transition into being a mother of two under two. That meant being able to show up fully with love, support, and mindfulness for how I help mold them into tiny human beings! Children are LITERAL walking sponges from ages 0 to 7, and my role as their mama is for sure an important one.

The first months of my second child’s life are going to be so intense and vulnerable, I didn’t want to distract myself from this experience. Not to mention it’s going to be so eye-opening and sentimental watching little Juju beans meet + grow with his little sibling! This time in my life constitutes lots of attention, patience (with myself AND my family) and of course lots of much needed care.

SO, I leaned into my desires for that time and accounted for it in my future. Maternity leave seemed like a great option for me and my values, but I knew I was planning a lot of exciting expansions in my business as well! Of course, I have my Sparkle System™ retreats throughout 2022 and didn’t want to compromise on those valuable programs. PLUS I had some amazing collabs with my dear friend Pamela Chen  to think about!

But even while pregnant, I still wanted to continue holding space for my role as a Coach + entrepreneur and my soulmate clients. To me, that meant consistently embodying MY version of success- and that comes with navigating balance! I took this as an opportunity to ask myself:

What does balance look/feel/sound like to ME as a mompreneur?

How can I best serve MYSELF so I can show up for my family AND clients?

What do these two spheres of my life have in common that I can provide them?

I knew that my career and family both required me to be flexible, mindful, and take full accountability of my role in each. So to make sure both were receiving the nourishment + inspired action they required, I decided to take a peek at my calendar for the year and see what non-negotiables I wanted to put in place for my business AND my family.

Planning + setting intentions for the year prompted me to work with my dream team and execute MY standard of excellence. To allot for the desired amount of time I needed after Baby #2 arrives, we all worked together to cultivate a proactive, productive, and abundantly aligned schedule for our individual responsibilities. I wanted EVERYTHING I needed in place for my business to sustain its growth. This permitted me to prioritize my rejuvenation, relaxation, and preparation for this exciting new phase in my life.

I’ve been feeling more empowered than EVER stepping into my role as a mompreneur. Between leading my dream team, preparing for Baby #2, and establishing my needs is what encourages me that this is what I’m meant to do. I know that I’ll look back at all these empowered decisions + inspired actions I’ve taken to run my biz AND be the mom I want to be with the utmost joy, satisfaction, and gratitude for showing up…

Not just for myself, but everything that matters MOST to me.

Baby #2, you cannot get here soon enough 💕
