Putting systems in place optimizes your business’s potential to remain effective, productive, and of course profitable! Gotta keep that money flow, am I right? 💰
Systems also help keep things concise + consistent, especially once you nail down the steps necessary to achieve ALL your business goals both big and small!
This is the framework you can utilize to systemize your biz for MAJOR success!
💥 Identify core business activities
This can include your weekly meetings, programs, workshops, everything you do regularly. Break them up by core function (marketing, strategy, operations, etc.) so you remain organized + aware of what each activity is designed to do.
💥 Pick out any “issues” or setbacks you have experienced
If you’ve already figured out what works, great! Don’t change what doesn’t necessarily need changing (just yet). Instead, assess all the activities you’ve just laid out. Are there any that keep you dragging, stressed, or confused? Now is when you need to be HONEST about what deep work you gotta do to level up your business.
💥 Detail the steps of each activity (that’s causing your setback)
You want to lay out the steps involved with your failing systems. That also includes the people involved, the resources you use, your approaches to completing this task, and so on. By breaking this down into more digestible pieces, there’s more to investigate + identify as your source of setback!
💥 Revitalize the system!
Ask yourself these questions to make the most empowered decisions for this improved system: Is there anything not serving my mission that can be removed? What do I want this system to achieve for my business? Do I have things in this system that can be moved to another person on my team? Are there any steps I can combine to make this system more efficient + effective?
💥 Test that shit!
Now is when you embody the change you want to see. Try out this newly improved system (a good test run is always necessary) and see if anything has changed! Reflect on the changes and their positive (or negative) impact on your operation.
💥 Keep reflecting + bring it to your team
If anything you’ve learned throughout this process needs to be brought to your team’s attention, now is the time to do so! Who knows, they may even provide insight perspectives that’ll optimize your business even MORE!
