When I first started my coaching journey, I had no FREAKING idea what direction I was going to take- and that was a journey in itself.
Despite feeling so freaking ecstatic about NOT working a corporate job, I was nervous AF. Like knees buckling, palms sweating, need-to-binge-a-whole-season-of-Revenge nervous. I couldn’t shake the pure CHAOTIC energy coursing through my body.
WHY? For the first time in my adult life, this was an opportunity to not only explore my potential but EMBODY it. Existing in an environment that doesn’t drain you of all your time, energy, and inspiration is like experiencing a quantum warp while your feet are still firmly planted on Earth. It felt like I was breaking the time-space continuum with how much was changing in my reality…
And that new standard of experience is utterly nerve-wracking, wouldn’t you agree?
But I wasn’t going to let my fear of the unknown stop me, NOOOO FREAKING WAY. I already conquered fear when I made the leap of faith to leave my EA job- to prove to myself that there was much to life than my comfort zone.
And THAT was the first step in my growth that I needed to take. Truth be told, it took a FAT ASS minute to find my coach. She stumbled into my life when I least expected her, which was def a sign from the Universe that I was finally welcoming in positive change.
In fact, I utilized more than one coach on my journey! I didn’t want to pigeon hole myself, especially when I was finally feeling good about what I was working towards. I believe that becoming the best version of yourself isn’t a one-stop shop, get-in and get-out type of deal. Fuck NO.
This is a journey assimilating your external self with who you are at the cellular level. And you deserve to explore all the courses, modalities, resources, and fields that call to you! Invest in #allthethings that set your heart + mind + soul on FREAKING FIRE because that’s going to be the foundation for your mission.
Learning how to fully align with your life requires, well, a lot of learning.
I’ve had people tell me they’re interested in being a coach, and when I try to pry the ideas + inspiration out of them… NOTHING. Nada. They haven’t a clue as to where to begin. And you know what? That’s totally freaking okay. Hell, it’s understandable! I can fully empathize with that deer in the headlights moment. But like my coaches who saw the magic in me, I see the magic in YOU. And all it takes to unleash that magic is a little bit of energy work.
Along this adventure of mine, I’ve learned a thing or two to help me evolve into the Life + Business Coach I am today.
