None of us start at the top of our game, at the pinnacle of our success.
We all start down below, where the boundless emptiness consumes our every waking thought and idea. We weren’t born with our niche clarified, or our programs designed down to the last detail. I bet none of us started with our thousands of followers, or even had a business up and running.
Our brands, our missions, all of it blossoms as we ourselves grow 🌸
It’s time we start acknowledging that fact with faith and positivity rather than shame or frustration. When we allow ourselves to brew in the negativity, we resort to self-sabotaging behaviors like self-criticism and comparisonitis. Comparison, especially based on social media presence, sold-out programs, and testimonials discourage us from the beautifully individual journey that lies ahead. And even moreso, it limits our ability to see the infinite amount of possibilities for our minds, hearts, and souls to GROW.
I believe it’s crucial, now more than ever, that the personal development + Coaching industry realistically addresses that we ALL start somewhere. And instead of seeing that as a weakness, it is an opportunity to really build up our strengths + passions.
When I parted ways with my corporate hellscape, I was clueless about what to do next. And tbh, becoming a Life Coach wasn’t really on the top of my aspirations list. It just wasn’t at the forefront of my brain— but it strutted its way in there 😉
But I knew my core purpose was to show up EVERY FREAKING DAY for myself and what I believed. That meant helping other women, supporting them, and cultivating an empowering space where judgment and scarcity were damn strangers to us ALL.
All it took was a vision, a mission, and healthy doses of passion for me to get going.
I’ve learned quite a lot in the process of building my company! I now appreciate the art of boundaries, REAL self-forgiveness, accountability, and the beauty in embodying my magnetic leadership. I’ve also begun to prioritize consistency over intensity, faith over fear, and most importantly community or competition.
And I know that those of you reading this post thinking about what your dream life looks like, feel that flutter in your chest knowing you value the same.
There’s a whole world of clientele that need your humility, demand your grace, and yearn to be inspired by people like you. That’s why it’s crucial you surrender to the fear of the unknown and say “screw you” to the limiting beliefs convincing you starting anew isn’t the way to go.
