What does it take to be a great, passionate, influential coach?

It’s so simple, yet so effective.

COMPASSION.

OPTIMISM.

EMPATHY.

HONESTY.

OBSERVANCY.

These are just some of the many traits I practice on a consistent basis to ensure I am the best coach I can be for my amazing Sparkle System Coaching Certification + Six Figure Business School students.

It takes a lot of patience, conscientiousness, most importantly humility to recognize that my job, my biggest PASSION, emphasizes the vulnerability of human experience. It’s beautiful, chaotic, and very intimate.

In order to effectively focus on excavating my client’s biggest goals, it’s up to me to create that universal safe space for the most candid of learnings. Whatever reactions ensue are all a part of the radical metamorphosis into their highest, best versions of themselves!

Coaches have this pivotal responsibility to take accountability for the meaningful messages behind the transformational work. How can you expect any client to embrace their own changes when you yourself are unable to embody them?

Back when I was in a personal development program myself, having a compassionate yet assertive coach aided me. I was able to constructively address what limited me, yet I received SO much validation from others who knew exactly what I was going through.

Having someone encourage me to hold the space for my growth was essential- and I strive each day to do the same for my clients.

All I ever want to give to the amazing women I work with is community. The infinite, boundless support to embrace who we all are meant to be.

How can you strengthen your compassion as a coach? There are SO many ways!

For one, try putting yourself in someone else’s shoes! This is a concept I implement through various techniques. It’s a great way to bring empathy into play! It’s such an amazing tool to broaden your perspective of the spectrum of experience clients can come to you with.

Another way to strengthen your own coaching skills is doing the inner work YOURSELF. That’s right, the best way to familiarize yourself with the impact behind your work is to do it for yourself. You’d be surprised at how much you can learn about yourself when you put the cause back on YOU!

Diversifying your language with more positive yet direct vocabulary is how to set a great example for setting energetic boundaries. This is a limiting behavior I observe in many clients coming to me for RADICAL self transformation.

Communication with the subconscious mind is so vital in this process; you must commit to bettering it with yourself and your clients as much as you possibly can!

The real change starts WITHIN!

By consciously working on all these aspects of your coaching identity, you’re making sure your clients feel seen, heard, and understood. This can help permeate that barrier in order to guide them towards creating REAL results.

That’s why I place major emphasis on the art of building rapport; it establishes a really strong connection for all the deep inner work you’ll be facilitating as a coach.

Channel all those humanistic qualities into your coaching- and watch your empowering energy create a beautiful space for your clients to create true, meaningful impact.

You’ve got the power, babe. It’s time to channel it into something WORTHWHILE.
