I’m sure you’ve heard many people, including myself, say that passion is the key to creating YOUR definition of success.
Following your passion is one thing I highly encourage, but embodying that fervor to create your authenticity is an entirely other step in the journey towards inner + outer transformation.
I’m sure you’re asking: WHY is it so vital to the evolution of discovering success?
Because when we align our soul’s purpose with the goals we desire to achieve, we encounter outcomes attracted to such!
Passion isn’t just a value or attitude, it’s an emotion. It tugs at our heartstrings when we feel a new or growing connection to things in our lives that unite with our innermost values.
Don’t you ever feel that warmth in your chest spread through your body when you’ve encountered something that brings you joy? How does it feel spiritually, even physically, when you put your energy into something that cultivates harmony + bliss in your reality?
THIS was a lesson in my own personal development journey that completely changed my outlook on embodying my excellence.
As an Executive Assistant working in finance, most of my work revolved around supporting the corporate CEOs- mainly their objectives to make more money and reach those numbers.
While it gave me financial support and a chance to ascend up the competitive corporate ladder, I felt very disconnected. Being behind the scenes, coordinating my work goals to appease others’ desires meant not having the chance to show what I was truly capable of.
Despite my success, it was corporate-defined; there was no room for me to explore outside my comfort zone and see just what excellence I knew I could achieve.
Not only was I feeling spiritually deprived in corporate work, I knew I was meant to HELP people discover their own passions. But how could I do so if I wasn’t even able to support my own big dreams?
And that was when it clicked.
The only way I was going to grow was by actively removing the work no longer aligned with some of my core values: family, community, feminine empowerment, spiritual abundance…
True, authentic growth meant honest unlearning to re-discover who I am and was meant to be. Once I established the need (and want) for a growth mindset, I not only created space for growth but for HAPPINESS.
My work ethic, motivation, and excitement for life grew exponentially when I fueled my mind and body with a more optimistic yet assertive energy! I claimed my gift for helping others, and wanted to make it my life’s work to do so. I cultivated my business skills with my desire to guide others towards spiritual fulfillment- and it has given me so much freedom!
The Universe rewards abundance when we synchronize our values and beliefs with aligned action. When you commit to the work you put in, it’ll notice your determination to be nothing but YOURSELF. You’d be so amazed and astounded with the unexpected opportunities bestowed to you when you open yourself up to explore what you’re devoted to!
Anything is freaking possible when you apply passion to your life. Expedition of the soul is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself.
YOU have the power to find purpose in your passion, you just have to allow yourself to dream big, let go of the icky societal standards, and say YES to investing in yourself!
Success shouldn’t be measured by what others recognize. Instead, it should be about striving to experience the ultimate sensation of aliveness in whatever way you choose to find it.
You know what you’re made of, and it’s time to give yourself the chance to explore it all.
